September 28, 2026 “He’s Got the Whole World on His Hand”
Enjoy this week’s Come Follow Me for Homeschoolers and Families as we explore Isaiah 40-49!
These scriptures from Isaiah were so beautiful. I feel like I finally understood why Nephi loved Isaiah so much. The way Isaiah reminds us that after all that happens in life, we are not forgotten by the Savior. The hope and promise that the Isaiah offers us in regards to our Savior is stunning:
Isaiah 49:13–16
13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
14 But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Isaiah 48:10
10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
Isaiah 40:11, 29–31
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
