August 3, 2026 CFM: For Such a Time as This
I love the story of Queen Esther and I desperately want to dress up and sit in a synagogue and party with our Jewish friends as they celebrate Queen Esther in Purim. Goals people, goals.
Her story is so unique and beautiful, and a reminder that God has a way to work all things for our good. I have often thought about what I promised God to do here on earth, and how I can be an instrument in His hands. There are gifts each one of us has been given, and opportunities that will be presented to us that will help move God’s work along.
Story time! A few years ago while searching for a job as a teacher I found myself working full time in a Special Education classroom as a paraprofessional. I was initially frustrated that I had to take that job, as it seemed like nothing was working out the way I had planned. Things were tough at home, I won’t go into details here, but as I worked in this classroom my heart softened and pride left. It became incredibly clear that God had put me in this class with great purpose. I grew to love those kids and one girl in particular stole my heart. Each day she greeted me with an insane amount of love and wanted to share that same love with others. It was as though she was a beacon of love and joy to those who needed her most. Her mission here on life? I’m sure one little aspect of it was finding me and reminding me of God’s abundant love.
She was born for such a time as this. And so are we. We all have little missions in life!
As always these are free! Enjoy! Feel free to share.
Your sister in Christ,
